The Mildred Avenue Summer Academy will focus on achieving accelerated gains in both academics and social-emotional learning to compensate for learning loss during the pandemic. The Summer Academy will focus on Grades K1 - 6. Each class will be led by our very best teachers and will maintain a smaller class size. Additionally, the program will focus on small group instruction and one-on-one learning opportunities within each school day. Online support programs will be utilized to further support learning in school and -- through partnership with our families -- during out of school time as well. The Summer Academy will leverage our specialty resources (like our dance studio for example) and the assets of the Community Center to provide enriching opportunities and fun for students.
Grades Served: 2021-2022 School Year Grades K1-8; 2022-2023 School Year Grades K2-9
