Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston - Orchard Gardens SLA (Grades 3-4)*

Your child’s academic success is important. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston is partnering with Boston Public Schools to work toward halting summer learning loss and to help your child prepare for the next school year. The Summer Learning Program is for current 3rd & 4th grade students. This is a no-fee summer program that includes project based learning in math and reading instruction, and afternoon enrichment activities in the arts, sports, health & wellness, and leadership opportunities. We have planned plenty of outdoor physical activities, field trips, and unique and challenging experiences. • This is a no-fee based program. • Enrichment portions of the day include arts & crafts, athletics, music studio & more. Fridays will be field trips (no classroom time) • Activities will be tailored to this age group’s specific needs and interests.

This program is part of a Summer 2022 Vision Site. It will offer:
1. Meals prepared onsite
2. Transportation will be offered to transportation-eligible students from a limited number of designated neighborhood "hub" stops. Some travel may be required. Buses will leave and return to "hub" stops only at their assigned times. Students who RSVP by the deadline will receive "hub" stop assignments by the end of June.
3. Extended Day: Transportation will not be offered for students who enroll in extended day programming. Parents/Guardians/Daycare providers are responsible for student pick up at the end of the extended day.

Hub Stops for all Summer Programs taking place at Orchard Gardens will be as follows:

Bus 1 - Oak Sq, Jackson Sq Station, Nubian Station
Bus 2 - Fields Corner Station, Bowdoin St @ Hancock St (Kane Sq), Dudley St @ Humphreys St
Bus 3 - Forest Hills Station, Grove Hall Branch Public Library, Dudley St @ Magazine St
